Why Prime With DSFT

How DSFT Fits Your Team

DSFT's value to your team depends on the task order. Two cases:

On SDVOSB set-aside task orders — DSFT is a certified, similarly situated SDVOSB, so our workshare counts toward your 50% self-performance requirement under the limitation on subcontracting, not against your subcontracting limit. You get cyber practitioner depth and set-aside compliance headroom in one teammate.

On unrestricted task orders — DSFT workshare advances your small-business and SDVOSB subcontracting-plan goals while adding focused cyber authorization depth a generalist sub cannot bring.

Current Teaming Boundaries

Where DSFT Fits — And Where It Doesn't Yet

DSFT is currently best suited for defined cyber authorization workstreams under a prime, not large multi-function prime contracts or classified prime work requiring a Facility Clearance. DSFT is most useful where a prime needs focused RMF, ATO, ISSM/ISSO, POA&M, assessment-readiness, or sustainment support inside a broader delivery team.

Compliance posture: DSFT handles no CUI or classified work today, so CMMC and a Facility Clearance are not required; NIST 800-171 self-assessment with an SPRS score is stood up before any CUI task, and classified work runs under the prime's FCL.
