Representative Experience Areas
01

AF Enterprise Scale

Led the NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 transition for a USAF enterprise system of record, expanding its control baseline from ~50 to 800+ controls. Tested 4,400 custom test procedures and created 120 new ISCM tasks in nine months.

02

Military Health

Led the initial ATO, sustainment, and Rev 5 transition of a DoD military-health network supporting 13 accredited medical devices and subnetworks; earned the top maturity rating (ML-4) on two consecutive triennial cyber inspections.

03

Special Access Programs

Cybersecurity lead for a Special Access Program (SAP). Authored the implementation documentation in accordance with JSIG and led a four-person team to pass a MAJCOM cyber inspection within the first 60 days on site.

04

Operational Technology

ISSM for a USAF training range, integrating OT/ICS across flight simulators, tactical datalinks, SCADA controllers, and RF systems. Separately, performed technical evaluation of a joint logistics program device to field $16M of lab equipment that had sat shelved for nearly three years.

05

Authorization-Boundary Consulting

Petitioned PMO and AO to eliminate standalone ATO requirements for two systems by folding them into existing boundaries; reduced sustainment cost by ~$800K/yr and avoided ~$2.5M in one-time code refactoring.

In Practice

What This Means For DSFT Clients

DSFT does not approach RMF as a paperwork exercise. The company's delivery model is shaped by operator experience with what actually slows programs down: unclear AO expectations, weak evidence, aging POA&Ms, incomplete artifacts, disconnected stakeholders, and PMs who need practical decisions under time pressure.
